This informative panel on careers in human factors (HF) psychology includes an overview of the field of HF and six HF psychologists who conduct research and apply psychological science to ensure safe, efficient, and effective performance in a variety of settings. Panelists work in the area of human-computer interaction/human-robot interaction, cognitive neuroscience and human-technology interaction, team communication using fuzzy cognitive mapping, vicarious learning environments and intelligent tutoring systems (ITS), interventions supporting home health management, and gaming/gamification and virtual reality.
