Time to Job: Psychology Doctorate Recipients 1991 and 1997
The "Time to Job" figure represents how long it took for doctorate recipients to become employed. Almost two-thirds of the doctorate recipients had a job within 3 months of completion. This includes those who had the job while in school and those who obtained a job before finishing. Between 1991-1997, there was a decrease in the proportion who obtained a job before graduation accompanied by an increase in the proportion finding work within 3 months.
