The American Psychological Association Psychotherapy Video Series presents distinguished psychologists demonstrating specific approaches to a wide range of client problems. Children and Adolescents features experts at working with younger clients who present a variety of concerns or problems.
In each video, experts discuss their approaches in provocative interviews with series host Dr. Jon Carlson and then demonstrate their approaches in a real therapy session. The therapists then review the session with Dr. Carlson and explain how the approach was put into practice.
Many DVDs have a bonus feature: a voiceover track with the therapist's commentary that may be played while watching the therapy session for further insight into the therapist's approach. All the DVDs are powerful training tools in classes and seminars on working with these age groups.
