APA seeks new director of its Office of Sponsor Approval
APA’s Education Directorate has an immediate opening for a director of its Office of Sponsor Approval. This position will provide overall leadership and management for two governance and regulatory groups, the APA Continuing Education Sponsor Approval System and its Continuing Education Committee, as well as the Commission for the Recognition of Specialties and Proficiencies in Professional Psychology. This position will also be responsible for revenue generation and fiscal management to meet targeted financial goals.
This is a senior staff position that is part of a team of professionals dedicated to the advancement of high quality education and training in psychology.
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in psychology in a professional psychology subfield. Successful candidates will have five to seven years of experience related to graduate or postgraduate education and training or continuing professional development in psychology. Familiarity with regulatory processes/quality assurance programs or direct involvement in the administration of such is desirable.
