MyAPA now includes opportunity to opt in to messages from state associations

Communication from state, provincial or territorial psychological associations will help raise awareness of advocacy and public education efforts.

APA members may now opt in to email communication from their state, provincial or territorial psychological association (SPTA) through their MyAPA account. APA’s Board of Directors recommended that APA work with regional associations to offer this feature, helping to further advocacy and public education goals.

Once logged into their account, members can scroll down to the “E-Newsletter & Alert Opt-ins” box and select the link to “Edit my selections.” The blue box to opt in to SPTA communication is on the right of that page.

APA’s enhanced MyAPA platform allows users to tailor communications from the association, receive alerts when APA publishes new research and more.
