The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America initiative will set up nearly 1,900 memory screening sites nationwide on Nov. 19.
Health care professionals will provide free, confidential memory screenings and educational materials to the public on National Memory Screening Day, an Alzheimer’s Foundation of America initiative celebrated annually on Nov.19. APA is supporting the program that this year will establish about 1,900 screening sites at Alzheimer’s agencies, assisted living residences, long-term care facilities, doctors’ offices, hospitals, senior centers, Ys, pharmacies and other community venues.

Organizations can sign up online to serve as a screening location. Contact APA National Programs Manager Melissa Austen at (866) 232-8484 or via email for more information.
