Call for Papers: Research and Practice of Clinical Supervision in Play Therapy
- July 31, 2014
International Journal of Play Therapy ® seeks contributions from play therapy practitioners and researchers about clinical supervision in play therapy. High quality supervision is a key component in developing ethical and effective play therapists.
Submissions for topics can include
- supervisee and supervisor development
- ethical issues in supervision
- training in play therapy supervision
- supervision outcome and process research
- innovative models and theories of play therapy supervision
We are interested in submissions that encompass a wide range of supervision perspectives and integrative approaches. Manuscripts submitted must have a very clear statement on the implications for play therapy. Thus, we are most interested in manuscripts that are specifically related to the practice of supervision in the context of play therapy clinical work.
In addition, consistent with the ethical guidelines of the journal, if clinical case material is reported authors must state in writing which criteria they have used to comply with the APA ethics code (i.e. specific informed consent, de-identification or disguise), and if de-identification or disguise is used how and where it has been applied.
Submit manuscripts through the International Journal of Play Therapy submission portal.
Please note in your cover letter that you are submitting for this special issue.
Deadline for submitting manuscripts for this special issue is July 31, 2014.
Any inquiries or questions regarding topic or scope for the special issue can be sent to the Editor, Stephen P. Demanchick.
