APA is proud to be an official supporter of National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day (May 9, 2012), which promotes positive youth development, resilience, recovery, and the transformation of mental health services delivery for children and youth with serious mental health needs. Awareness Day efforts encourage the enhancement of resilience in young children from birth as well as providing information for the public on the warning signs of traumatic stress.
