Upfront

As APA's 2013 president, Donald N. Bersoff, PhD, JD, is focusing one of his initiatives on ensuring psychologists are at the forefront of providing behavioral health services to military personnel, veterans and their families, as well as to women soldiers who have been the victims of sexual harassment.

Twenty to 30 hours of presentations will be devoted to this topic at APA's 2013 Annual Convention in Honolulu. Bersoff is particularly interested in psychologists' work assessing and intervening with soldiers, returning veterans, their spouses and children, and with female victims of sexual harassment. Individual papers and symposia are both welcome.

Accepted proposals will be part of Bersoff's presidential initiative and will have no competing programming in the same content area.

If you have a session proposal, please submit it to Donald Bersoff, PhD, JD, through the APA Call for Programs website by Nov. 16.
