APA Representation at International Meetings

The APA president, board members and staff regularly bring APA’s presence to international conferences of psychology and related disciplines. These activities are listed below.
2013

Australia

  • October 2013: Address at the 48th Annual Conference of the Australian Psychological Society in Cairns, Queensland: "The United States and Australia: Partners in the Ethical Practice of Psychology" (Stephen Behnke, director, APA Ethics Office). 

Brazil

  • April 2013: Meeting with Fundação Volkswagen executives to work on the implementation of an ACT Program pilot project funded by APF, in São Bernando; presentation on violence and prevention to judges, lawyers, prosecutors and psychologists in Ribeirão Preto (Julia da Silva, director, Violence Prevention Office).

  • July 2013:  XXXIV Interamerican Congress of Psychology in Brasilia (APA President Donald Bersoff; Merry Bullock, senior director, Office of International Affairs; Julia Frank-McNeil, senior director, APA Books; Peter Gaviorno, senior director, Sales, Licensing and Marketing).

Canada

Colombia

Spain
