Forensic Assessment and the Standard of Care
Standard of care is a term frequently used and even more frequently misunderstood, especially when it comes to forensic assessment. There are many idiosyncratic approaches to forensic assessment that often purport to represent a standard of care. This ADVANCED workshop will take the definition of standard of care used in legal areas and demonstrate how, using established standards, guidelines, research, and practice documents, a forensic practitioner can meet a standard of care.
