Description

On August 9, 2006, a one day program titled Expanding Psychology Practice to Primary Health Care: Evidence Skills and Issues was held prior to the APA’s Convention in New Orleans. There is much written and discussed concerning psychology integrating into medicine, but practical knowledge has been difficult to obtain. The focus of this course, modeled on the program, is identification of key knowledge in the Integration of Psychology and Medicine. It includes specific workshops designed to teach skills necessary to implement evidenced-based assessment and interventions to medical patients.
