On December 9 and 10, 2010, leading psychologists in the area of HIV/AIDS, including members of the APA Committee on Psychology and AIDS, participated in meetings with high-level federal officials and congressional staff to discuss APA priorities for the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Following up on APA’s recent written response to the NHAS, these conversations provided a key opportunity to share APA’s positions with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the White House Office on National AIDS Policy, and congressional leaders on health issues.
