This award seeks to recognize an APA member who has had a significant and enduring impact on advancing the role of psychological principles to enhance the lives of and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in society.

Description

The Committee on Disability Issues in Psychology (CDIP) of the American Psychological Association is soliciting nominations for Distinguished Contributions to the Advancement of Disability Issues in Psychology Award.

The award will be presented by members of CDIP at the 2014 APA Annual Convention in Washington, D.C., Aug. 7-10, 2014. The award recipient will serve as the keynote speaker for the CDIP Conversation Hour, and is invited to present on a disability-related topic of his or her choosing.
