Abe Fellowship Program

This fellowship is designed to encourage international multidisciplinary research on topics of pressing global concern.

Description

The program seeks to foster the development of a new generation of researchers who are interested in policy-relevant topics of long-range importance and who are willing to become key members of a bilateral and global research network built around such topics. The program provides Abe Fellows with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 months of full-time support over a 24-month period.

Eligibility

To apply, at least one member and one Division member must collaborate on the required application materials. The APAGS Award Selection Committee will take into account both past and current activities when reviewing and selecting the winner of this award. Funds must be used to develop new programs and opportunities for graduate students or to build upon and enhance existing student activities.
